Preservation Needs Assessment

What is a PNA?

A preservation plan or needs assessment is the process highlighting both broad and specific needs for the care of the collection and establishing the priorities and resources for implementation.

I have conducted numerous Preservation Needs Assessments for small to medium sized and large organisations within NSW and around Australia. Each collection is unique and diverse in material type as well as resources available to undertake the recommendations. With this in mind, I establish an open working relationship with all parties and encourage regular communication throughout the process. The final plan is a guiding tool that is practical and achievable for your organisation.
